Empower Louisiana ENERGY STAR Appliance Rebate Program

The State of Louisiana has launched a mail-in rebate program to help residents replace old, inefficient appliances with new efficient ENERGY STAR qualified appliances.  The program will continue until funds run out.  Eligible products include refrigerators, freezers, clothes washers, dishwashers, room air conditioners, gas storage water heaters, gas tankless water heaters, electric heat pump water heaters, solar water heaters, gas furnaces, central air conditioners, air source heat pumps.  Residents must reserve their rebates online or by phone.  Residents must certify that their old appliances have been disposed of in accordance with state laws.
