Born on the bayou! Conceived in the aftermath of destruction, the gestation period of our area's first and only publication totally dedicated to green and sustainable living took several years. Birthed right on time in the spring of 2009 on the festive banks of Bayou St. John. Louisiana Green Scene was presented to New Orleans by its' proud parents Larry and Laurel Savoie. Directly applying the philosophy of thinking globally and acting locally is what makes Louisiana Green Scene a proactive agent of change. It serves as a one stop source of cutting edge information on the many facets of green and sustainable living. By harnessing and applying the virtual office method of production, Louisiana Green Scene Magazine is a real time working model of green and sustainable business practices. Published and distributed monthly, its' mission is to reach out and affect meaningful change through the delivery of timely articles and pertinent information on green products, services and organizations.
